Integration of RMGT 920ST-5 with LED Curing Technology

Thinkprint and Florida Trade Graphics is pleased to announce the installation of the RMGT 920ST,

equipped with the latest LED-UV technology. It is a full size, 5 color press, capable of printing 4-up 11x17 or 8-up 8.5x11. This upgrade delivers higher production efficiency, expanded substrate compatibility, & improved print stability across all stages of the workflow. The RMGT 920ST-5 features a maximum production speed of 16,000 sheets per hour, supported by a robust feeder & delivery system designed for high-volume environments. The press accommodates stocks from 50# offset up to 24pt (approx. 0.024”), enabling the production of both commercial print materials & heavier packaging-grade applications.The integrated LED-UV system provides instant curing at full production speeds. Unlike conventional UV or aqueous-based drying methods, LED curing liminates heat-related substrate distortion, reduces maintenance associated with lamp degradation, & requires significantly less energy. Immediate curing minimizes set-off & allows sheets to move directly to finishing,reducing total job cycle time.

Due to the transition to LED-UV technology, Thinkprint will discontinue AQ coating. For applications requiring surface protection or enhanced visual characteristics, we offer multiple varnish options compatible with LED-curing workflows, including gloss & matte.The integration of the RMGT 920ST-5 reinforces Thinkprint’s commitment to technical excellence, production efficiency, & consistent color-critical output.
